Pete Blank has been speaking and training for almost twenty years in a variety of industries. He received his BA from the University of Florida and his MHR from Rollins College.
In the early 1990's, Pete was a sportscaster at WBMG-TV in Birmingham. His passion for sports and speaking merged as he shared the latest sports news with Central Alabama.
While TV news was a great gig, Pete wanted a less hectic lifestyle. He moved to Orlando and returned to the Walt Disney World Resort, where he spent 13 years learning the in's and out's of customer service, teamwork, and leadership. Along the way, he managed the front desk of a hotel, facilitated college classes to interns, and led leadership training for all 55,000 Cast Members.
A desire to get closer to family brought him back to Alabama. Now, he serves as the leadership trainer at the Personnel Board of Jefferson County, where he shares leadership lessons with over 9,000 civil service employees. He is also the President of Alabama Training, Leadership And Strategy (ATLAS).
Pete is an active member in his church, where he leads bible study and fills in to preach when needed.
